Description
"Volcano Imposter" by Loree Johnson Photography. Mount Wilbur, in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park, is a sedimentary mountain created by upheaval through plate tectonics, not volcanic activity, as are most of the mountains in the park. On this morning however, a small cloud formed over the peak, thus letting this mountain pretend to be a volcano for a short time.
