Description
Palouse Falls is a Washington state park in the southeastern part of the state. Here, the Palouse River plunges nearly two hundred feet (61 meters) into a deep gorge scoured out of volcanic basalt. At the top of the falls, to the left, is a craggy formation known as Castle Rock.
